Wanted to take a second to thank everyone who came out this Saturday. The 11 AM rush was more mellow than usual, with a lot of folks heeding our advice and making the trek to the barn later in the day and arriving to a more subdued atmosphere. What a great day! Special thanks to Dean’s son Alex for directing parking so effortlessly.
The guys put 10 BBLS of beer into the fermenters Friday evening and Saturday - 5 more BBLS of “Julius” and 5 BBLS of “Eureka”, a 3.9% Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops - a high alpha variety from New Zealand. What does this mean? It means we have more beer and more beer is awesome.
This week we’ll keg a fresh batch of “That’s What She Said” and take delivery of a fresh round of 2L growlers. More “Julius” next weekend, along with “Curiosity One”, which is pouring brilliantly. . . Stay tuned.
Hope y’all enjoy.
We'd like to send a special thanks to Michael G. of Willington Companies for the surprise gift of elegant growler tag labels - fantastic!
We'll be at Stoddard's Pub in Boston on March 12th for an event to benefit Pints for Prostates. Y'all coming? We're coming with our friend Julius nectar.
